Harry Houdini in the mid 1920's was vilified by the Psychics, and Mediums he publicly expose to be frauds, and fakes. Houdini traveled from town to town-offering $10,000 to anyone who could exhibit supernatural phenomena. No one ever won the prize. Today James Randi self-proclaimed conjuror, Magician, and illusionist are offering $1,000,000 to anyone that can prove psychic phenomena, really! If I was so gifted I would at least be a Millionaire the money is still available. Over 90 years since Houdini called them fakes. Psychics and mediums are still hard at work. However, they justify charging for their act, by simply calling it for what it really is, entertainment.

Everyone as a certain level of intuition, some people are more intuitive than others are. All this really means is that some people have learned too quickly use their experiences to arrive at a course of action. Then there are people that claim to have the gift of clairvoyance, and would like to share their gift with the world, for a price? This part puzzles me. They can see the future, but they cannot come up between them with one winning lotto ticket? If I had this gift, I would be a billionaire! Then I really could share my gift with the world, without the need to charge people for readings.

I cannot believe how anyone can take mediums seriously, if the medium can talk to dead people and can pick up the presence of a loved one in the room then why asked anyone anything. Shouldn’t the ‘dead person’ tell the medium who they are, and whose family they wish to contact? The medium should be receiving information not asking for it. Unless you have a weekly television show that is. Then let the bullshit fly! After all, it is entertainment, and people pay a lot of money to be entertained. As long as you realize that, it is a well-rehearsed act to fool you into believing them.

Psychics are just as bad I guess if you are into fantasy, and you have the money to throw away. When people are desperate, enough to go to a psychic it is because loved ones have been missing a long time, and it is their last hope. They need to know if a loved one is dead, or alive. When so-called psychics knowingly con people out of money, or give people false hope or no hope at all because all they are really looking for is that next paycheck that is when laws need to change or be enforced. There is too much fraud not enough people held accountable for it, and that includes paranormal groups some of them are worse than psychics at pushing fantasy.

I know of one family where the psychic told them they had a curse on them. They paid $1,200 to have the psychic remove the curse. Because curses, hexes, and demons do not exist, but fear can be a powerful tool when it involves you, or your loved ones. Paranormal groups are just as much to blame for encouraging a variety of beliefs, and mysticism. We have heard from clients that had a paranormal team walk around the property then had a psychic contact them. When the psychic called, she claimed to ‘Astral Project’ herself over the phone into their home. Then told them they had angered the spirits, and charged them $300 for her services.

Why I am grouping sensitives’ along with the rest of the frauds because perpetuating fantasies contribute to keeping the frauds in business.

“If you are not part of the solution then you are part of the problem.” ~ Charles Rosner

I would seriously hope that before medical science publicly announces anything that would suggest a continuation of human existence without first putting in place legislation to protect society from the rush of scam artist, and frauds already entrenched in this field.

Paranormal non-Reality TV

The catalyst that drives all the misinformation in the paranormal field lies squarely on the shoulders of all those paranormal non-reality TV shows. If I could get ghosts to respond on cue, we would then have proof that ghosts exist. Paranormal activity happens purely at random you will never know when or where it is going to occur, and even if you know exactly where to look the chance of catching the same activity at that location may never happen again. The only way to catch any of it is to have cameras, and voice recorders everywhere! Most of the times were sitting around talking to ourselves, and hoping for something to talk back. It is not all that entertaining in fact it is rather boring. I have been guilty of falling asleep on several investigations, and have slept like a baby-sitting in the middle of some of those popularized haunts seen on television. I was board to dead! Now try to make a weekly television show out of that, and keep your audience. You cannot without running around screaming, Aaah! Did you see that? Did you just scratch me! Now run around, and chase after something you cannot see? You have to wonder why shows like this are still produced. Regardless of which paranormal non-reality show you watch. Some to all of the evidence presented on the show been questionably introduced to some extent. People that have seen these paranormal non-reality TV shows do not realize that filming a forty-minute show where it looks like they investigated overnight, in reality took a film crew following your favorite investigator around on location an average of ten days. They stay in wardrobe wearing identical clothing during the filming, so in editing they match throughout the show.

Remember television is entertainment, but they go as far as appearing on other shows, or appear in public to claim that their evidence is real? Even after it has shown to have been faked, or staged! Then there is equipment used by these shows to communicate with the spirit world. In the real world, does nothing at all and you wonder why the paranormal field is in the shape that its in today.

It is funny when I am skipping through the channels and just happen across one of the more theatrical paranormal non-reality TV shows. I hear them replaying the audio evidence they caught. It sounds to me like garbled noise, and they immediately announce that it said something intelligible that came from a Ghost. I am assuming the distortion from their cheap audio recorder aids in the illusion of actually catching something.

All these entertainment paranormal fringe-belief shows. They do not say they are doing anything real or telling any truth. The truth does not make money for them but supporting fantasies do.

Now with all these paranormal shows slowly dying off knowing that all good thing and many bad things that came from them will eventually come to an end. They all had a good run even though some of them will take a little longer to die. I can’t imagine why some of these reality TV actors, and I use the word actor loosely, with all the years put in on these paranormal non-reality TV shows would respond with any skepticism about life after death. Seeing that they had limitless access to some of the most haunted locations in the world. That most of us could only dream about, unfortunately their full attention was on filming that non-reality TV show every couple of weeks, and themselves. Then after all those years, they came away with learning absolutely nothing even though some of them will continue to promote fantasies because of their reluctance to let go. These are the actors you will see ten years from now you know after all the fame and the money disappears, and they end up sitting in a mall somewhere in Los Angeles signing autographs like so many of the stars today that are forgotten tomorrow. I imagine it is difficult to collect falsifiable data with a camera crew following you around everywhere, but they had every opportunity to do something meaningful, but instead chose to promote fantasy in the pursuit of fame and fortune. Then again, any opinion from these actors should be ignored since the only evidence they ever collected was produced by the show for entertainment purposes, and that would pertain to each and every one of them.
